We are inviting you to make it possible for a child to be provided a warm bed, medical care, food, and family.
Our mission at Redeemer House is to rescue, rehabilitate, and reunify children with their families and communities whenever safely possible. In Uganda, we have learned that most orphaned or abandoned children have a family member who would gladly care for them if they had the support and resources to do so.
Our children’s home is staffed entirely by Ugandan caregivers who provide for each child’s immediate, spiritual, emotional, educational, and medical needs. We take a holistic approach to healing, recognizing that restoration is a process that cannot be rushed. Our social workers and caretakers devote significant time to loving the children, nurturing them, and rebuilding trust.
Our ongoing goal is to remain a safe and stable home for vulnerable children. The cost of providing medical care, food, shelter, clothing, and full-time staff averages about $100 per child each month. By becoming a Guardian Sponsor, you help sustain the overall care of the children at Redeemer House. Your support directly ensures that our 16 beds remain available—when one child is reunified, another can enter and begin their healing journey. We hope with this commitment you will also join us for the ongoing prayer requests for the unique circumstances of each child that comes into the home. Our new Guardian group will include a monthly email with updates on the children and specific prayer requests.
