We have sensed God’s call and have joyfully stepped out in faith once again to travel with xHope on mission to serve Redeemer House Children’s Home in Jinja, Uganda. As you may already know, traveling during a pandemic takes great faith. Our goal is to travel with a team of 6 missionaries in hopes of bringing encouragement to our sponsored students and Redeemer House staff/children. xHope Missions, Inc. believes God has risen us up “for such a time as this…” and we are ready to be used for Gods glory. We are honored to host a youth retreat for our high school and University students. We have a graduating high school senior and a graduating college student traveling with us from the USA to share their personal experiences. We trust that having peer influence and vulnerability will be of great support to our students. We also plan to host staff training and outreach for our lower grade students and families. Many of you have asked if you can send your sponsored student a gift. We absolutely encourage you to send updated family pictures and letters, as they hold these photos near and dear. Believe it or not, they pray for their sponsors daily and thank God as they look at your pictures. Please take the time to send a picture and letter, this is the most cherished gift you can send. We also invite you to donate funds toward the attached campaign so we are able to gather the students, host the planned events, and provide each sponsored student with educational tools for this school year. For the children who are located far in the village and unable to travel during our time there, our social workers and Uganda staff will visit the children and deliver the donated education tools, letters and pictures. Your gift is tax deductible and you will receive a tax-deductible receipt and the end of the year. Please be sure to follow XHOPEmissions and Redeemer House Children's Home on Facebook to watch our journey.
